Featuring a powerful 1 1/2 hp motor, this unit is a great addition to any kitchen that needs the versatility and speed of a commercial mixer, but without the volume of a larger, heavy-duty stand mixer or floor mixer. This mixer is not recommended for use with pizza dough.
3-Speed, Gear-Driven Transmission
Three speeds let you mix anything from whipped cream to dough, and the speeds are labeled to indicate which attachment is best-suited for that setting. The dough hook is best suited for a low RPM of 150, the flat beater for a medium RPM of 271, and the wire whisk for a high RPM of 485. A gear-driven transmission design provides greater reliability over belt-driven mixers.
